Mini Rant: Beauty Blog Commenters

If you have ever read a beauty blog or watched a review/tutorial video, you know people have all kinds of opinions about makeup. Possibly the most ridiculous thing I've seen relates to the application of eyeliner. The comment that keeps popping up is 'never pull on your eyelid to apply eyeliner because you'll tear your eyelid.'    😐

Bitch, how hard are you tugging at your eye to apply eyeliner that you tore it?

Okay, I feel better now. *whew*

Attitude is everything?

I don't know. People say that. It has something to do with how life goes, but only so much. I suppose it's a decent coping mechanism, or a sign that someone isn't coping well at all. It can get you into trouble sometimes. Say you're trying to be positive about your job, but nothing ever goes well. You then get stressed out because the cause and effect is off. How long does it take before things really are getting better? Does it only seem bad because you keep expecting it to turn around? Then there are people who say that you shouldn't worry because other people have it worse. So I shouldn't wish to improve because others have it worse? That makes zero sense. Nearly everyone wants better than what they have. Attitude is getting us stuck in a never ending cycle. Maybe we need to be a tad less emotional about everything and start looking at the mechanics of it all. Can't leave the emotions out completely. We are human, after all. [MEx]
